Flying Instructor Rating (FIC)

This allows you to teach flight training.

The FIC is a course of 30 hours of flying and 125 hours of groundschool. Before commencing this course you must have passed the written exams for the JAR CPL or ATPL.

Initially you are restricted not to send a student on their first solo or first solo cross country until you have a little more experience. Valid for 3 years and has to be renewed by doing two of the following:

(a) Pass a skill test

(b) Go to a seminar

(c) Have 100 hour instructional flying in the past year.

We are approved by the CAA to carry out this course and all of our aircraft have also been approved for course use.
