Airspeed Aviation Ltd was
first set up in 1982, as a CAA approved maintenance company.
Other the years, it has gained
considerable experience to allow its customers the very best in professional
service.
Airspeed Aviation
Ltd, was originally set up by Martin Jones, when he decided to turn a
hobby into a business, giving up a well paid job in industry, to set up
from scratch a dream.
Early days - Aztecs in our first facility - 1982.
This happened, however only
through extremely hard work and dedication (Not to mention a huge financial
commitment)
Since then, Martin and Margaret
Jones, have developed the company, from a small set up in a shared rented
hangar, to now, a dedicated maintenance facility on its own airfield used
by our own flying school.
Airspeed Aviation is now a
major UK maintenance company, but still very defiantly a family business.
We are also an ACF50 and Microlon
Treatment Centre
Airspeed Aviation is currently
restoring Amy Johnson's DH88 Comet Racer to a flyable condition. The work
is mainly being done by volunteers in our facility. For further information
